Air conditioners often stop for simple reasons. Try these three checks first. They sort out most of the calls received.

Check the mode
Make sure the unit is set to ❄ for cooling or ☀ for heating.
2.
Clean the filters
Clogged filters cause weak airflow, odd smells, and faults. A rinse often fixes it.

Reset the unit
After a power surge, switch it off at the mains, wait two minutes, then restart.
